MARILYN CASSETTA RN

 Selected in 1986, after working for 8 years in a San Francisco Burns ICU, Marilyn was one of the very first nurses to be selected and trained to inject the first and only dermal filler available: Zyderm collagen. In 1991, Marilyn and her husband sailed throughout the South Pacific, eventually settling down in Australia, where she was given another great opportunity: to be corporate-sponsored as the Advanced Technique Trainer for Collagen Biomedical and to introduce the role of the Aesthetic Nurse throughout Australia and New Zealand.

 

Marilyn has been privileged to train doctors and nurses throughout the USA, Australia and New Zealand in product knowledge and technical skills. She continues to regularly attend domestic and international educational conferences and also maintains membership with professional plastic surgery organisations.

She currently holds two Board of Director’s positions, affiliated with ISPAN, the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses:

• the Plastic Surgery Nursing Foundation

• the Plastic Surgical Nursing Certification Board

Marilyn, also continues to serve as a Manuscript Reviewer for the Plastic Surgical Nursing Journal, for over 15 years.

 

She has also achieved dual Board Certification in Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery:

• Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (USA)

• Certified Plastic Surgery Nurse (USA)

Marilyn’s decades of experience will offer treatment advice, education, comfort and privacy will be assured, as all treatments are performed within the rooms of Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons.

 

A comprehensive and collaborative consultation, will ensure an affordable treatment plan with a Plastic Surgeon. 

 

While listening to the patient’s specific needs, Marilyn will also provide a comprehensive discussion of the most appropriate treatments from non-invasive procedures requiring maintenance to the long-term results offered by surgical outcomes.
