CHEEKS

Most youthful or beautiful faces have a fuller midface, high cheekbones or are well defined. As you age, you lose fat, bone and muscle creating a volume lose in your face.

What are cheek fillers?

Cheek fillers are injections to the cheek area using a hyaluronic acid gel or a calcium-based type filler, that raise the volume of the area by lifting and contouring. This provides the illusion of a more defined bone structure. Our skilled Sydney injecting team can replace volume loss, increase structural support and soft tissue volume lost through ageing or genetics. Cheek fillers can also smooth out folds, wrinkles, and fine lines.  While some men and women were born with great cheeks, others were born with underdeveloped. Often athletic people find it difficult keep weight on and can look skeletal like in the cheek. Filler can help restore  , replace what was lost and soften the bony surrounds making them look less skeletal or harsh.

What cheek filler can improve?

Size of Cheeks: Flat or underdeveloped cheeks can be enlarged with as little as ½ a ml each side for a subtle look or highlight. Typically, clients have 1-2mls at the first treatment and we review them at 2-4 weeks. If they say that they “liked the swelling after the first treatment and was disappointed after it went down”. Then we can be built on till you achieve your desired result over a few staggered treatments.

Shape of Cheeks: We will assess and discuss your anatomy and how the shape can be improved. You may need more volume in the front, side, the high point or to create the apple of the cheeks (highlight) or as we say the money shot.

Skin texture of cheeks: The skin wrinkling from smiling or ageing can be improved with fillers or skin boosters and or anti-wrinkle injections using muscle relaxants to reduce the crow’s feet, wrinkles at the sides of the eyes often running into the cheeks.

Lower cheek lines: Smile lines of the lower cheeks can be treated by using a soft filler in the individual wrinkles or using Skin boosters/skin hydrators to the whole area or doing both. Bio-remodellers are also good for the fine lines in this area without adding bulk.

Ageing Cheeks: The structural support and volume loss is addressed in a two-approach technique. Often requiring more product.

Asymmetry of Cheeks: This is very common and will be assessed and taken into consideration and careful placement and correct choice of filler used to create more harmonised balance.

Surgical Options: Cheek implants are a permanent surgical option to increase a flat cheek or add definition to cheek projection. Often clients try filler first to see what size they prefer.

However, there is more downtime and risks with surgery. A mid facelift or full facelift can enhance the cheeks by removing sagging excess skin. All performed by one of our Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons. Refer to each individual clinic for more information.natural will be achieve.
